Tideborn Empires takes the big-map strategy itch and trims it down to something you can actually finish. You settle islands, manage a handful of resources, and outmaneuver rival captains across a sea that reshuffles each game. Nothing here overstays its welcome.

The interface is the quiet hero. Everything important sits one tap away, and the game pauses gracefully when you switch apps mid-turn. Matches run around thirty to forty minutes, which is a rare mercy in this genre.

The AI opponents have personalities, from the turtle who never attacks to the raider who won't leave you alone. It keeps replays feeling fresh even after a dozen sessions.
